JAMMU, June 6: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Global Open University Nagaland in presence of Ernesto Carlos Alvarez Ambassador of Argentine Republic, Dr. Tamerlan Karayev Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaizan, Desire Koumba Ambassador of Gaban, Hendera Henny Andries Minister Counsellor Information, Head of chancery republic of Indonesia and Padmasa Jha, Vice-Chancellor Mithla University conferred National Forest Conservation Award to Dr. C.M. Seth Hony. Director WWF-India (J&K) and to O.P Sharma Conservator of Forests (J&K) at India International Centre, New Delhi yesterday in recognition to their outstanding contribution in the field of Environment Education and Forest Conservation.
The search committee was constituted by the Confederation of Indian Universities, Association of Organizations on Nature and Environment and the Global Open University, Nagaland.
