| Car mechanic drowns in Tawi | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 6: A car mechanic drowned in Tawi river at Sitli near Nagrota, about 10
km from here, this evening. Police sources identified him as Shoukat Ahmad Khan (30), son of
Ghulam Nabi Khan of Faislabad, Srinagar. He was at present putting up near Sitli.
He drowned while taking bath in the river. The body was fished out and kept in the GMC hospital mortuary, the sources added. Post-mortem would be conducted on it tomorrow. Later, it would be handed over to his family members for last rites. A case in this connection stands registered at the Nagrota police station.
