| Bangladeshi held on IB | | | JAMMU: A Bangladeshi national was apprehended by a BSF patrol near the International Border (IB) in Kanhachak sector, about 15 km from here, last night. A BSF patrol saw a person near the zero line late last night while he was moving towards the IB, police sources said.
Sources said he was trying to exfiltrate to Pakistan, but the BSF patrol foiled his attempt and caught hold of him.
He was identified as Rafiq-ul-Islam of Bangladesh. He was later handed over to police.
Nothing incriminating was recovered from his possession, the sources added.
