| Panic grips Pargwal after blasts across LoC | | | JAMMU: Panic gripped the border Pargwal belt of Akhnoor, about 30 km from here, late last night following two powerful blasts across the Line of Control (LoC).
The blasts were followed by heavy firing close to the LoC on the Pak side, official sources said. The blasts and the firing triggered panic among people living close to the LoC in Pargwal with several of them coming out of their houses, the sources added. Sources said the people were, however, relieved after security forces told them that the blasts had occurred on the other side of the border. They then returned to their houses, the sources added.
