CAPD squad books 17 defaulters

UDHAMPUR, June 8: On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Pandurang K. Pole, a squad of CA&PD department headed by Assistant Director, T.P. Singh checked Hotels, Karyana Shops and Halwaies of Mahore and Chassana area.
About seventeen defaulters were booked and a fine of Rs. 4300 was also realized from them under Essential Commodities and Price Display Act.
All the Karyana shop owners were directed to display rate lists at their respective shops. The owners of Hotels, Dhabas and Sweetshops were also advised to not to use domestic LPG cylinders for commercial purposes otherwise strict action shall be taken against them under Essential Petroleum Act. 2001.
Tehsil Supply Officer Chassana and Tehsil Supply Officer Mahore also accompanied the squad
