| Efficiency brought to Kathua Tehsil administration | | | Early Times report
KATHUA, Jun 8: People in Kathua have appreciation for the local Tehsildar for providing efficient and timely facilities to those who come to Kathua Tehsil office to procure documents required by them. Most of the people who have been interviewed by this correspondent expressed their satisfaction over quick and efficient system introduced by tehsil office to speedily make available without hassle some important documents like OBC, ST, SC , Income certificates etc needed by the applicants..
Ramesh Lal, Dilawar Singh, Manmohan Baghat, Moh-ammadd. Qayum, Aswani Kumar, Surinder Kumar, Tarun Kumar and others contacted by this correspondent said that they had applied for Income certificates, OBCs, SC, and ST certificates and were very happy to find that the processing of their cases was done with exemplary speed and fairness by the functionaries at the Tehsil office Kathua so much so that they could obtain these documents within a very short time.
They attributed it to the honesty and efficiency of Kathua Tehsildar Shri Avtaar Singh. They stated that the present Tehsildar had infused dynamism and new work culture in his office administration by his dedication and spirit of service to the general public.
As per the source in the Tehsil office Kathua, in April 2010 a total 182 persons applied for inclusion as SC, OBC, ST, and RBA. Till 30 May 452 persons applied for these documents out of which 433 were issued. Remaining 19 are pending for completion of formalities.
In PRC category 126 persons had applied in the month of April out of which 66 PRCs were issued and 60 are pending for want of requisite documents.
During the same month 134 persons applied for documents out of which 79 were issued and 55 remained pending as these are being consolidated. A total of 192 persons had applied for Income certificates during April and May and all these applications have been disposed off properly.
This huge number of documents was completed and issued within very short period of time. It testifies to the efficiency and speed brought by the local Tehsildar to the tehsil administration. |
