early times report JAMMU, June 8: A group of Tawi Trekkers, J&K comprising 53 students including 31 girls of St. Xavier Convent School, Barnai, here left for Dalhousie to participate in the Dalhousie-Chamba trekking programme today. "The team, after its stay in a camp especially designed for trekkers at Panchpulla, shall trek six kilometers from Panchpulla to Bara Pather through a dense, calm and cool forest and then take a leisure walk through Kala Top - Khajjiar wild life sanctuary. Finally, the trekkers shall trek from Khajjiar to Chamba," general secretary of Tawi Trekkers, J&K, Ram Khajuria said. Earlier, the group was flagged off by the Principal of the school, Pankaj Padha. Prominent among others present were Mridhu Padha, Vice Principal; Sumit Khajuria, leader of the group and teachers, Shaweta Jamwal, Updesh Kour, Sonia Sharma and Kavita Bhan.
