| Rich tributes paid to Budh Singh | | | Jammu, June 9: The 126th birth anniversary of Budh Singh, former Minister, a freedom fighter and social worker, was celebrated at a function organized jointly by the Institute of Jammu and Kashmir Affairs and State Cultural Academy, at KL Saigel Hall, here this evening. Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Dr. Farooq Abdullah was the chief guest. The portrait of Budh Singh was garlanded by the prominent persons present on the occasion. A telefilm on the life and contribution of Budh Singh was exhibited on the occasion. It has been scripted by Balraj Puri, director, Institute of Jammu and Kashmir Affairs and directed by Ved Rahi depicting Singh's life, his political and social activities.
