| NSUI unit of PG Department of Mathematics MAM College appoints president | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 9: NSUI today appointed Mohan Singh as President of its unit for PG Department of Mathematics. State general secretary and in-charge Jammu District, Arjun Singh Pathania personally interacted with NSUI activists at MAM College, and Mohan Singh was unanimously appointed as the president of the unit. Other members were also nominated after consultation with the newly appointed president. They are Kulwant Singh and Naresh Kumar as Vice Presidents; Rashmi and Neeraj as General Secretaries, Himani, Amit Paul, Arun Choudhary, Aslam Choudhary and Rinku as Secretaries and Gargi Jasrotia was appointed spokesperson of the unit. Speaking on the occasion, Pathania congratulated them on being appointed office bearers of NSUI. Speaking on the occasion he said that students had some duties towards society, which could be best performed by becoming a part of the national organization. Addressing the gathering, Rajveer Singh Manhas, JU president said that students should be united in solving their problems. Mohan Singh, the newly appointed president said that there was a strong demand of students to change the system and youth must take initiative in that direction.. He also said that there were many loopholes in the system which the youth had the capability to rectify.
