JAMMU, June 9: On the eighth day of the 12-day long ongoing adventure camp at Sprawling Buds School in Chinore, near here, a sport climbing competition was organised where in 72 campers took part. In this day-long event, students from the host school bagged highest seven medals while campers from JK Police Public School, Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota and Dream Land School secured two medals each.
One medal each was won by students of Delhi Public School, KV Gandhi Nagar and St. Xavier Convent School. The competition was conducted by Abhimanyu Sherpa, a former all India champion, Neha Dutta, Ritesh Jagotra and Satish Bhan under the overall supervision of Ram Khajuria, a National Sport Climbing Judge. The winners shall be honored on the concluding day of the camp.
The Detailed Results: Junior Boys: Mudasser Rassol, Ist; Sahil Gandhi, 2nd and Ashyut Bargotra, thrid. Junior Girls: Asiya Choudhary, Ist; Sofia Choudhary, 2nd and Yashodra Balwal, third. Sub Junior Boys: Nikhil, Ist; Deepak, 2nd and Abhishek, third. Sub Junior Girls: Nandita Gupta, Ist; Anshu, 2nd and Pragrita, third. Boys under-10: Chintan Sajgotra, Ist; Anish, 2nd ; Ayush and Aryan, joint third.
