| Deputations call on Slathia at Summer Sectt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 9: Minister for Industries and Comm-erce, Surjit Singh Slathia, today met various deputations at Civil Secretariat to listen and ensure early redressal of the grievances of the people.
The Minister will be available to the masses at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, till 11th June The deputationists putforth various demands of their respective areas including construction of lanes and drains, better healthcare, adequate drinking water and un-interrupted power supply, upgradation of education facilities and related infrastructure.
The Minister issued on the spot directions to the concerned authorities for early redressal of the problems put forth by the deputations.
Addressing the deputations, Slathia said that Summer Secretariat has been kept open for the people would will be attended by one Minister at a time to listen to the demands and grievances of the people on rotational basis for the next five months.
This is a part of the endeavors of the coalition Government to provide equal opportunities of progress and maintain the impetus of the developmental process in all the three regions of the State, the Minister added.
