Court issues warrants against IPS, DSP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 9: The 2nd additional session Judge, Jammu, has issued bailable warrants against an IPS officer and a lady DSP as they failed to present themselves before the court in a case. The officers included Bhim Sen Tuti, who was SDPO (east) in 2002 and Mamta Sharma, who was SDPO (west) in 2002. Both were witness in the case. In the case of Tuti, the judge directed IGP, Kashmir, to arrest and produce him in the court on July 6, 2010. He can also be enlarged on bail after furnishing a bail bond and a personal bond of Rs 1,000, the judge said. In the case of Mamta Sharma, the judge directed ADGP (CID), headquarters, Srinagar, to arrest and produce her in his court on July 6, 2010. She can also be enlarged on bail on furnishing a bail bond and a personal bond of Rs 1000, the judge added. Both were witness in a case registered at Chhani Himmat police station under FIR No 94/2002 and sections 4/25 of Arms Act and 302/201 of RPC.
