1,900 R S Pura youth take part in police recruitment rally | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 9: Unda-unted by the militant attacks on police and other counter-insurgency agencies in the state, at least 1,900 educated unemployed youth from R S Pura today took part in the police recruitment rally here. The rally for the recruitment of constables was held at the sprawling Gulshan Ground. However, when, in the eve-ning, the selectors were preparing the list of those who had qualified the physical test, a dust storm forced them to pack up. A senior police officer said the results would now be declared tomorrow. "The recruitment of R S Pura youth will continue Thursday too," he added. The officer said since the unemployed had incre-ased with the passage of time, huge rush of educated unemployed youth of R S Pura was witnessed. He said the recruitment process witnessed a great enthusiasm among the aspiring candidates. "The recruitment for constables is taking place after a gap of 10 years. We have worked hard for this recruitment as we have got an opportunity to serve the nation," said Rajesh Choudhary.
