6/11/2010 11:32:07 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, June 11: BJP State Spokesperson Ramesh Arora condemned transfer of 18 coaches from Jammu to Srinagar on the instructions and involvement of local minister R.S. Chib who is known for having soft approach towards, Jammu based problems, including discrimination. Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Medical and Technical Education R.S. Chib claims to be instrumental in solving many issues created by Kashmir centric leaders. But this time he has crossed all the limits and not only joined the opposite camp of Kashmir-centric leaders but have given a lead to establish his loyalty for masters.
He has got transferred all coaches from Jammu to Valley in order to end growing trend of Jammu based people towards sports.
With one stroke carrier of more than 10,000 sports lovers have been ruined.
Ramesh Arora personally visited MAM stadium after being invited by trainees and their parents, met with different coaches and local staff. The whole activities in MAM stadium has come to halt due to irresponsible attitude of the government, especially Jammu based politician and minister dealing the sports, Chib. Arora said that Chib probably have lost all emotions towards the problems being faced by Jammu based people. Jammu was growing in the field of sports and the concerned minister may be under pressure from Kashmir-centric leaders to take such drastic decision which will spoil present and future of Jammu province in sports, because sports activities in different fields are about to die in Kashmir, especially in the event of Cricket and others and this attempt will frustrate trainees and trainer. Recent appointment of Shafi Uri's son as Editor in Sports Council will further damage the growing culture-tendency towards sports in Jammu region and this back door entry will be challenged at appropriate forum.
Arora appealed the concerned minister to visit the hub of sports activities MAM stadium and feel personally the deserted look and dying sports and apathy on the faces of sports lover and feel their anger towards the decision of transferring coaches.
Arora demanded immediate withdrawal of decision and cancellation of order of transfers taken out as revenge to defeat the demand of implementation of Sixth Pay Commission, rather the problem be redressed in a sympathetic manner, otherwise without any delay BJP will adopt aggressive attitude towards "Killer of the Sports".
