| Imposition of jazia on the installation of langars condemned | | | Early Times Report
Kathua June 12: Addressing a public meeting held here today President Peoples' Action Committee Shri Gian Singh Pathania condemned J&K government for imposition of jazia on the installation of langars and pilgrims to Shri Amarnath Ji during the days of pilgrimage. Several activists of the People Action Committee including Vice President Bal Krishna Sharma, Ashok Sharma, Master Dhian Chand, and others vehemently criticized the coalition government for hurting religious sentiments of the Hindus terming it a deliberate attempt of creating a tense situation in the State by disturbing the communal harmony. The People's Action Committee urged the coalition government to revoke the jazia order and spare the installation of langars and pilgrims from financial obligation so that their urge of pilgrimage is not undermined.
