Sadbhavna tour visit Jammu

Jammu, June 14: Sadbhavana tour president and general secretary of Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha visited Jammu today. On their arrival, they were given a warm welcomed by the members of their biradari and profusely garlanded them.
Romesh Chander, general secretary of the sabha stressed upon mission of their to unite and strengthen of the local sabhas of Jammu and sought suggestions for their betterment RC Gupta of Jammu central Mahajan sabha also spoke on the occasion and gave his views. Jugal Mahajan, Patron, Gandhi Nagar Mahajan sabha, Kundan Lal Gupta, president greater central Mahajan sabha also spoke for the better functioning of the sabha and urged upon Akhil Bhartiya Shiromani Sabha to affiliate the Jammu central Mahajan Sabha with it.
Bal Krishan Gupta senior vice president Jammu central Mahajan Sabha and Chairman Mahajan sabha Trikuta Nagar outrightly stated in his address that style of working of the president Jammu central Mahajan Sabha is the main reason behind the differences among the biradari members. He further stated that elections for the president has become over due as the present has completed four years of his elections since the tenure is only for two years. Last elections was held on 21 May 2006. Still he is reluctant to hold the election which indicates that his institutions are not clear that he cannot fight the elections again as per Sabha's constitution.
Romesh Chander Gupta and Vinay Mitter, President and general secretary respectively of Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha listened to ever one patiently and appealed to al the shun the egoist approach and work unitedly in the interest of the community. The president further binds the local sabha president to contest the election who has completed four years continuously.
He further re-iterated that the first meeting of the working committee is being held on 27-06-2010 and united all the working committee members to attend the same.
At the close of the meeting a two minutes silence was observed for the eternal peace of Shaleen Gupta (10) S/o Naresh Gupta of Nai Basti Jammu who was abducted and brutally murdered for ransom. All the members along with Romesh Chander Gupta and Vinay Mitter, President and general secretary went to the house of Naresh Gupta, father of Shaleen Gupta to offer the condolences and express sympathy with the bereaved family. Both the dignities appealed to the administration to investigate the care in depth which is first of its kind in Jammu. The brutal killing of Shaleen was strongly condemned by all and impressed upon the police authorities to take strict security measures to prevent such crimes in Jammu.
