Chouhan hits hard at ‘anti-Soz’ lobby, Azad
Says some people engaged in leg pulling of Soz are working to damage party

RAJOURI, June 14 : In a clear yet oblique reference to Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad and his associates in the state, Union Minister and J&K Incharge of Congress Prithvi Raj Chouhan today minced no words in showering accolades on the state Congress chief Prof Saif-u-din Soz.
Hitting hard without naming Soz's detractors, he said that some people want to malign the image of Congress in this state and they were not tolerating the achievements of Pradesh Congress President Saif-ud-Din Soz.
While addressing public gathering arranged by Choudhary Bashir Ahmed Naz Vice Chairman of J&K State Gujjar & Bakerwal Advisory Board at Poonch, Prithvi Raj Chouhan said "Soz is doing well job and some people could not tolerate this and they are engaged in pulling his legs". He said that these people are trouble makers and are damaging the party in this state.
"They are not working in the interests of the party instead damaging it" he added.
Union Minister appreciated the role of Saif-ud-Din Soz and said that he is working hard to strengthen Congress party not only in Kashmir but in the whole state. He said that his hard work to strengthen coalition government is also laudable.Contrary to this however, Prithvi Raj Chouhan launched attack on the opponents of Soz saying that some people did not want that the credit should go to Soz which is why they are making troubles.
"We will not tolerate this indiscipline in the party", he said adding "Those people should shun the attitude of leg pulling of Soz and party will no more tolerate this", he added.
Meanwhile Prithvi Raj Chouhan also took on National Conference by sending them a reminder. "Congress is part of coalition and the people chairing this government should not forget this angle". He said that coalition is a single house and all members should be treated like family members.
"There should be no misunderstanding on any issue", he asserted. However assured that he is happy that coalition is running smoothly.
Pradesh Congress President Saif-ud-Din Soz on the occasion said that coalition government in the state is in good health and there is no problem on any issue. He said that he is working hard to strengthen the Congress as well coalition government. "I am working on both lines. To strengthen party as well as coalition", he said adding that his party leadership is also interested to strengthen the coalition and he is just following the party whip.
