| Kashmiri migrant teachers to get HRA, CCA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 15: The Kashmiri teachers, who had migrated from Kashmir to Jammu in early 90s following eruption of militancy, would get house rent allowance (HRA) and city compensatory allowance (CCA). The government had agreed to the release of HRA and CCA in favour of the migrant teachers, migrant teachers association (MTA) president Manoj Koul said here today. The assurance in this regard was given to a delegation of migrant teachers by commissioner/secretary general administration department (GAD), he added.He said a delegation of the MTA met GDA commissioner and showed him the Supreme Court order passed in January this year regarding payment of HRA and CCA to migrant teachers. Koul said the commissioner assured them that formal orders in this regard would be issued by the government soon.
