Rayat Bahra landmark, offers sops, distributes prizes to toppers

JAMMU, June 15: The Rayat Bahra Group of Institutes Punjab having ventured into Jammu and Kashmir with its highly prestigious and job oriented facilities have made a remarkable landmark in its first ever endeavor.
In this regard a mock test conducted by the Group to gauge the intelligent quotient of the students vying for an admission into the Institute turned out to be a very successful endeavor as 20 students high ranking students were given certificates with the top five getting monetary reward besides various concessions from the Group.
Kavya Kamal who secured the top position was presented a cheque of Rs 11,000 followed by Sourav Kohli with Rs 5700, Sharyar Ali, Rs 3100, Mohit Saraf Rs 2100 and Rajat Sambyal Rs 1100.
Besides the top 15 awardees were given an option for a fee concession upto 25 percent of their tuition charges opting for any stream in any faculty of Rayat Bahra which was announced by its panelist Sumit Behl, Sanjiv Bhatia and Ajatshatru Singh present on the occasion.
The chief guest Ashok Khajuria, former Bhartiya Janta Party president and MLA Jammu East while speaking on the occasion praised the efforts of the Institute in opening new vistas for the aspiring youth of the state who are very highly qualified and are in search of better option to secure their future in right perspective.
Sumit Bhatia, Deputy Director, Marketing and Admissions while elaborating over the expanse of the educational infrastructure of Rayat Bahra provided a deep insight into the working of the institute which he said has grown from one single unit in 2001 to 34 in 2010. "We are vying for its international recognition and with the support of people joining the Institutes; soon it would also be a global affair".
Later BJP MLA Ashok Khajuria distributed prizes and cash rewards to the successful candidates.
Besides the top five, others who were presented with certificate of appreciation include Gurleen Kour, Ajay Kumar, Anuj Puri, Nikhil Gupta, Manisha Manhas, Aapaarhind Katyal, Rohit Thapa, Faran Ahmed, Bhaskar Suri, Sumeet Sadhu, Shikha Raina, Arushi Malhotra, Rahil Sharma, Suchit Kaul and Vishwapreet singh.
Sanjiv Bhatia, Senior Consultant of the Group presented vote of thanks while Ajat Shatrusingh Jamwal, the Jammu and Kashmir Nodal officer conducted the proceedings.
