Paharies-Gujjars Ok; Rahi creating wedge | | | Early times report Jammu, June 16: Responding to cruel attacks by Gujjar leaders, various Pahari leaders did not restrict spitting venom on Gujjar leaders by calling them as real culprits responsible for dividing society. Jammu & Kashmir Pahari Peoples Movement Chief Executive Shahbaz Khan while spitting venom on Gujjar leaders said that they are hell bent to divide Gujjars and Paharies on communal lines. "We condemned this attitude and demand immediate ban on such organizations and lodging FIR against these leaders", Khan said adding that Javaid Rahi created a wedge between Paharies and Gujjars besides he is hurdle in the process of bringing leaders of both communities closer to each other. He added that state has adopted criminal silence over banning these organizations and demanded that credentials of these so called well wishers of Gujjars must be scrutinized. Appreciating role of Gujjar leaders for their positive efforts of uniting people, Khan said that Rahi is working against these Gujjar leaders and sabotaging their efforts. He said that Mian Bashir Ahmed, Mushtaq Bukhari, Choudhary Bashir Ahmed Naz, Shabir Khan Mian Altaf Ahmed, Javaid Rana and Taj Mohi-ud-Din have adopted positive approach towards bringing Gujjars and Paharies closer to each other. He added that self styled Gujjar leaders like Javaid Rahi is becoming hurdle in their way and is sabotaging their efforts. "Some leaders like Rahi among Gujjars have been frustrated and they are creating space in politics by playing dirty game of leveling hoax allegations against Paharies", he said. Wasem Mirza , Abdul Qadir Khan, President Students Pahari Union , Mohsin Batt and Amir Mir have also condemned statements of Gujjar leaders against the Paharies. |
