Do not play politics with student affairs: PSSU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU June 17: Pahari Speaking Students Union (PSSU) criticized various political parties and student organizations for allegedly playing politics on issue of students in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU. President PSSU Abdul Qadar Khan said that some people had started playing politics for their benefits in the name of students, this was condemnable. He said that use of brutal force on students by the students could not be justified in a civilized society. Qadar Khan also demanded the student's genuine grievances should be addressed earliest. He also said that some vested interested people were trying to create a wedge among the Pahari and Gujjar community of the area, this should be condemned by one and all. PSSU also observed this was a student's issue and should be treated as student issue without any difference in the name of sect, cart, region or religion besides positive efforts to solve it. PSSU appealed chancellor of the university to remove the VC and appoint some one having academic background and an inquiry by an independent authority. It is pertinent to mention here that the students were protesting for their genuine issues and the university administration had failed to address their genuine grievances
