| Farooq condoles Shaleen's demise | | |

JAMMU, June 17: Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Farooq Abdullah has condemned the gruesome and brutal killing of innocent boy Shaleen Gupta of Nai Basti on June 11 for ransom.
In a press statement issued here, Farooq has expressed concern over the shocking and inhuman killing for ransom which was first of its kind in Jammu.
He expressed his heartfelt condolences with bereaved family and said that law would take its own course and the killers deserve exemplary punishment so that no body repeat such inhuman act in near future.
He further added that it is a pity that some politicians try to extract political mileage on this gruesome killing instead of ensuring justice to the aggrieved family and exemplary punishment to the murders.
