President Kuldeep Kumar Rao said that there was virtual Jungle Raj prevailing in Thathri-Khara road. He further said that official fare of matador or bus from Thathri to Khara was Rs 10 per passenger and Rs 30 per passenger for taxies. The poor people forced to pay the high fares in absence of proper transport facilities, thus causing financial distress and harassment. He requested the Transport department to provide RTC buses for the route to save the poor passengers. JKMF also highlighted the plight of education sector in the area. He further said that the ZEO office was not properly working in the district, the newly constructed building were incomplete and midday meals ration were being misappropriated.
