| PNB staffer scales Mount Everest | | |

JAMMU, June 17: It was a proud moment for entire Punjab National Bank when one of its staff member attained the life's ultimate goal of scaling world's highest peak-Mount Everest.
Basanta Kumar Singha Roy, a staffer of the bank posted at Circle Office Kolkotta in West Bengal along with his team scaled the highest peak in the world by hoisting the PNB's flag.
It was a glorious achievement as Basanta reached the peak in his maiden attempt. As per a bank communiqué issued here today, the expedition was planned and executed by the Mountaineers Association of Krishna Nagar (MAK).
Meanwhile, the management of the bank complimented Basanta for achieving the distinctive feat thus making the bank proud.
