JAMMU, June 17: Two elderly Vaishno Devi pilgrims, including a woman, died of heart attacks en route to the holy cave shrine of the goddess today. Somawati (62) of Kanpur, suffered attack near Bhairo Ghati while she was on her way to the holy cave shrine. She was admitted to hospital where doctors pronounced her brought dead. 65-year-old Bitan Lal Verma of Madhya Pradesh died of heart attack near Adh Kuwari.After post-mortem in the hospital, their bodies were handed over to their family members for last rites.
