JWF refutes Mehbooba's allegation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 18: With political controversy over release of accused who allegedly kidnapped and murdered Shaleen Gupta of Nai Basti gaining momentum on every passing day, Joint Welfare Association (JWF) today came into the rescue of National Conference leader, T S Wazir refuted the allegations levelled by Mehbooba Mufti against him. Talking to the media persons here, Baldev Singh Wazir, president while expressing sympathies with family members of Shaleen and described these allegations as politically motivated, aimed at settling political scores against the rival NC. The Association has appealed to all political outfits not to politicize the gruesome tragedy and killing of an innocent child. It has also appealed the people to maintain communal amity and peace and not to indulge in blame game. The JWF leader urged the police and the administration for fast track trial so that the culprits are brought to justice. "The levelling of charges against anyone without any solid proof deserves condemnation," the association said, adding that the government should identify the real person who had influenced the Police to set free the culprit.
