| Bank Manager gets bail | | |

JAMMU, June 18: Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Jammu DC Sagotra today granted bail to Daleep Kumar Bhat the former Manager Jammu Rural Bank Pargwal.
Bhat was caught red-handed by the Vigilance Oganziation Jammu on June 14, 2010 on the complaint of one Parmanand. The court directed the Vigilance organization to release the petitioner on furnishing is bail bond and personal bond to the tune of Rs 50,000 each. Court on June 15, 2010 had granted seven day police remand of the Manager. The complainant had applied for loan for Kahdi Industry which was sanctioned Rs 1 lac in favour of complainant whereas Rs 35000 was given as first installment and for rest amount 65000/- the manger demanded illegal gratification of Rs 7000 which was settled at Rs 5000/-. On this complaint VOJ registered a case u/ 5(2) PC Act 2006 r/w section 161 and constituted a trap team and caught red-handed the said Manager. --- (JNF)
