| Rayat-Bahra Hotel Management is now National Council Affiliated | | |

JAMMU, June 18: Rayat & Bahra Group of Institutes, a brand synonym to futuristic education concepts, adds yet another feather in its cap getting affiliated to National Council of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, New Delhi, Under Union Tourism Ministry, NCHMCT is a national Apex body for training and development of human resource for hotel & Catering Management at national level. It is involved in promoting general advancement of hospitality education in India.
Rayat-Bahra J&K Coordinator said that IHM, is now offering a 3 years degree Programme in Bachelor's of Science in Hotal & Hospitality Administration. The eligibility for admission is based on the JEE All India Rank.
The counseling is scheduled at various centers in different parts of the country till 22nd June. Rayat- Bahra IHM, since its inception in 2007, has already carved a niche for itself in the field of providing, futuristic, quality education, for which it has also been rated as one of the top 10 up-coming HM institute in the country.
The institute has a sprawling 81,000 sq ft exclusive building. The salient features of the institute are the various add on programmes and short term specialization courses to make the students easily deployable much before he/ she finishes the course. The institute has a strong Industry interface and is working very closely to bridge the gap between the industry and academia. One such initiative is the setting up of the Centre of Excellence with international hotel Chains, where the students are trained by the industry through virtual class rooms and extension lectures.
The Group also boasts of its state of art Campus at Mohali, nestled amidst lush green surroundings, in close vicinity to Chandigarh, this 100 acre campus is equipped with separate Girls & Boys Hostels, with facilities like Wi-Fi, Gymnasium, Shopping Arcade, In- house Laundry, In - House Medical dispensary, Entertainment centre, Bus facility in 60 kms radius, and eating joints.
