| Mankotia inaugurates Primary School building | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR JUNE 18: Balwant Singh Mankotia MLA Udhampur today inaugurated the Primary School building of Soked at village Chak of Udhampur. In the same village he also laid the foundation stone of water tank of 8,000 Lt. For the construction of the tank Mankotia release Rs. 1 lakh out of his constituency development funds. He said that with the construction of this water tank about five hundred souls will be benefited.
While addressing the gathering in the premises of P/S Soked said that in the days to come this village will be develop as Modal Village. He also announced Rs. 1 lakh out of CDF for the Construction of culvert on Soked Nallah. Mankotia issued the direction to Xen R&B for immediate repair of Chak Chopra shop road for smooth running of traffic. Later, Mankoita was invited by Sabji Mandi Shopkeeper Association and Sabji Mandi Rehri Union. Speaking on the occasion, Anil Basanti President Shopkeeper Association and Gopal Krishan President Rehri Union praised MLA for start of different development activities at Sabji Mandi Udhampur.
They also demanded to reinstall the Rehri and Ferhi at Sabji Mandi which were dislocated by Municipal Council Udhampur. Other problems were also discussed in the meeting. Mankotia assured that their genuine problems will be addressed at the earliest.
