| Governor, CM greet people on Khir Bhawani Mela | | | EARLY TIMES RE\PORT
SRINAGAR, JUNE 18: Governor, N N Vohra, has greeted the people on the eve of Khir Bhawani Mela. In his message of greetings, the Governor said that the festival symbolizes communal harmony and brotherhood which are the hallmark of the glorious pluralistic ethos of the State. The Governor, on the occasion, prayed for peace, amity, progress and prosperity in the State. Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah has also conveyed greetings to Kashmiri Pandits on the eve of Mela Khir Bhawani. He has wished peace and prosperity to the State and well being of the people on the occasion.
