| HC among two killed in road mishaps | | | JAMMU/RAJOURI: A police headconstable and a tanker driver were killed and as many others wounded in different road accidents here today. A Maruti car (JK02/7973) skidded off the road near Narian Morh in Rajouri and fell into a gorge, resulting in the death of a police headconstable and injuries to two others.
The dead was identified as Mohammad Aslam of Fatehpur in Thanamandi, Rajouri, and the injured as Mohammad Hussain of Saj and Mohammad Sadiq, a government school teacher. The injured were hospitalised.
In another incident, an oil tanker fell off the Jammu-Srinagar national highway at Dalwas as a result of which its driver Ashok Kumar was killed on the spot. He hailed from Mishriwala.
