| Man ends life after neighbours encroach his land | | | JAMMU: Perturbed over the alleged encroachment of his land by his two neighbours, a 65-year-old man today committed suicide by consuming poison at his residence at Gho Manasa near here.
He was identified as Khajoor Lal. Official sources said he swallowed poison and ended his life after a
piece of land that belonged to him, was forcibly encroached by two persons.
Sources said Sosi and Sunnu allegedly encroached upon the land and started constructing a boundary ll.
"Despite requests by the deceased, they forcibly encroached the land following which the old man consumed poison," the sources added. He was later admitted to hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Police had registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
