| BBMB lifts PSCB Inter- CPSU Kabbadi Tournament Trophy 2010 | | |

CHANDIGARH , June 19:In a keenly fought final match of the PSCB Inter-CPSU Kabaddi tournament 2010 played on the third and final day at Sports Complex, Sector-42, Chandigarh, between the teams of BBMB and SJVNL, BBMB defeated SJVNL 36-8. and thus defended their title. BBMB played like true champions and never allowed SJVNL to settle down. Surinder singh and his team showed the exemplary technique of high class Kabaddi and were instrumental in helping BBMB to lift the tournament trophy. In other match of the day. NHPC got better of POWERGRID 48-14 and thus the two sides settled for third and fourth places respectively.
Earlier in the morning session, two semifinals were also played. In the first Semifinal between BBMB and POWERGRID , BBMB defeated POWERGRID 47-21 while in the second semifinal SJVNL defeated NHPC 32-27
In the concluding function after the match , Sh. S.C.Singh General Manager (In-charge) POWERGRID Northern Region Transmission system-II was the Chief Guest. Sh. Jagmohan Sharma General Manager(O&M) POWERGRID Northern Region Transmission system-II, Sh. Stanley Mathews Chief Manager(HR) and Sh. S.S.Pall Chief Manager (I/C) Chandigarh were also present on the occasion. Surinder Singh of BBMB was adjudged as Best player, whereas Rajiv of NHPC and Balwant Singh of SJVNL were adjudged as best catcher and Raider respectively. Sh. S.C.Singh gave away the three trophies to the teams who won the first, the 2nd and the third place and mementos were given to all the participants of the teams and organisers.
