| PDP leader meets nomads of Mughal road region | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, June 19 : PDP Youth General Secretary Nadeem Khan, accompanied by state secretary Ahsan Mirza wenton a visit to Mughal road and interacted with the deputations of various nomads of Rajouri and Poonch at Dobchia Dhok. He patiently listened to their problems.
In a statement Nadeem Khan lambasted the government's false claims of completion of Mughal road and said it had not been completed as yet. He said that what the government claims is not substantiated by ground realities.
Nadeem Khan added that Mughal road is a ray of hope for Rajouri and Poonch areas and our people are waiting anxiously for its opening. He demanded that government should take up its completion on war footing so that the schedule of July is adhered to.
Nomadic people at Dobchia Dhok told Nadeem Khan that Chief Minister promised them the solar lights when he drove through Mughal road but till date no progress has been made in this regard.
Nadeem khan said people should not be befooled by false promises. He demanded that solar lights and medical facilities should be provided as the people in the area. He emphasized that nomadic people had a vital role in contemporary society and are a part and parcel of the nation. |
