| DPS summer camp concludes | | | Early tiems Report
Jammu, June 19: The Delhi Public School organized a summer camp from 1st to 19th June with the aim to bring out the talent, potential and capabilities of the students. Both boys and girls from classes II to VIII participated in various activities like pot making, printing, needle work, art and craft, classical dance, western dance, music, English conversation, swimming and game like cricket, basket ball, badmintorn, lawn tennis, table tennis, football, skating and roller skating.
During the camp an excursion to Manda zoo and Amar Mahal was also organized. On the final day valedictory function was organized to conclude the summer camp in the school campus. Students from DPS Katra also participated. An exhibition was organized to display the craft items made by young artists during the camp. Principal of the school took great interest and encouraged them. An attractive and colourful cultural show was put up by the students.
An inter school roller hockey match and a football match was also organized on the between DPS Jammu and DPS Katra was won by DPS Jammu. |
