| Mass rallies, awareness campaigns against Drug Abuse | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
REASI, JUNE 19: To chalk out modalities for the observance of 26th June as International Day against Drug Abuse and illicit trafficking, the District Development Commissioner (DDC), Reasi, Pandurang K. Pole convened a meeting of officers of line departments here today. The Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sukhdev Singh Sambyal, Additional S.P. Anita Sharma, Assistant Controller Drugs, Munish Gupta, Chief Education Officer, K.K.Sharma, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. G.L. Dogra, CDPO, Drug Inspectors and presidents Chemists Association of Katra and Reasi attended the meeting. Threadbare discussions on various issues were held which included on holding of awareness rallies, door to door awareness campaign against drug abuse, launch of drive by police against illicit liquor (Lahan). |
