JAMMU, June 21: All Jammu and Kashmir Backward Classes and All India Backward Classes held a condolence meeting in Jammu to on the sad demises of Begum Shmeem Akhtar w/o Kaka Bhatti resident of Ustad Mohalla, Jail Road, Jammu.
Another condolence meeting was held to mourn the sad demise of Mohammad Younis, (AEE, R&B Deptt,), s/o Mohammad Hussain, r/o Gursai, Tehsil Mendhar, District Poonch. He was on duty on Mughal Road Project, R&B Division, and Poonch when a splinter of boulder struck him dead. He was an honest and dedicated officer serving with the department for sixteen years. Kuldeep Raj, Vice Chairman Advisory Board, Backward Classes J&K also mourned the untimely death and prayed to God Almighty to give peace to the departed souls. Among those who were present in the condolence meeting were Hassan Din Betad, Abdul Rashid, Abdul Qadir, Talab Hussain, Ch. Bansi Lal, K.C. Verma, Ayodhya Kumar Manawa, Madan Lal Manawa and others.
