| Sikh Sangat frames GMC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 21: A general meeting was held at Gurudwara Guru Harkrishan Sahib, Basti Indira Nagar, Jammu on 20 Jun 2010 to elect the new Gurudwara management committee for its best functioning.
The entire Sangat unanimously elected the following members, Chandan Singh Chairman, Gurpreet Singh Vice-Chairman, Harpreet Singh, President, Jashpal Singh, vice president Sardar Singh, general secretary, Amarjeet Singh, cashier.
The newly elected committee took strong decisions to control drug addiction amongst the youngsters,
Preaching of Sikhism and brotherhood message of Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
The committee also adopted the resolution of society to become the best citizens of the state and ture followers of God.
The president Harpreet Singh further said that it will be his sole mission to serve the humanity, detract the youths form crimes and motivate them to help poor and needy person
Harpreet has already been the secretary of Sikh youth federation of Indira zone wherein he has been adjudged as on of the influential young leader who brought ample changes in the behaviour of youth belonging to all communities.
