| ST/SC students federation flays nefarious designs of anti social elements | | |

JAMMU, June 21: Haq Nawaz Choudhary, president of all J&K ST/SC students federation strongly condemned the attitude of Pahari people against vice-chancellor of Baba Gulam Shah Badshah University, Masood Cho-udhary.
Addressing the meeting of students of various professional and non-professional colleges, he said BGSB university under V.C Masood Choudhary is running very well and every body appreciated the working of Masood as V.C. But he said some dirty elements in search of an opportunity are bent upon to destroy peaceful atmosphere of the campus.
He said the recent demonstration in the campus is a conspiracy against V.C. Masood. He said protests, dharna and procession are common things in Universities and colleges, and in much of the cases. Police open fires in air and lathicharge against students to control the condition, which can be understood from Aligarh University where many time students died in Police firing and lathicharge.
Even last time in Jammu University Police used force against students.
Federation warned such forces not to destroy the peaceful atmosphere of University and also appear the local people of Rajouri Poonch to instruct the students for their study and advice them not to come in the ends of such politicians, because University is an Institution and not a ground of Politics.
Other senior leaders who also spokes in the meeting were Saleem Ch., Mushtaq Ch., Musarat Ch., Julkar Nain, Saber Nadeem, Sarfaraz, Zaheer Ahmed and Hafeez.
