BSP flays Geelani’s statement | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 22: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) state general secretary M P Gupta Pawan has rejected the statement of Hurriyat Leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani on annual pilgrimage to Holy Cave of Shri Amarnathji in South Kashmir. Gupta said, Geelani has no power on earth to speak about Hindu pilgrimage and its duration. He said no Hindu or any persons belonging to other religion never speak against Muslim festivals and pilgrims, why he poke nose in other religious matters. He said pilgrims who visit Holy Cave spend crores of rupees and the benefit goes to shikarawala, hotels, taxi, three wheerlers, shopkeeper, traders etc. He said Geelani should not distribute the peace in the valley, as Kashmiri want, peace and development. He also warned Geelani not issue such un-relevant statement which is going to hurt the sentiments of Hindus
