Jammu, JUNE 22 : The high court today stayed a tender invited by director local bodies on June 7, 2010 ignoring the earlier tender which was allotted to the petitioner. Vacation judge, Justice JP Singh taking cognizance of a petition stayed the fresh tender as the arlier tender had been allotted to the petitioner.
The court issued notice to the state of Jammu & Kashmir through Commissioner/Secretary Housing & Urban Development, Director Local Bodies Jammu, Municipal Committee Chenani and Municipal Committee Bhaderwah. The court accepoted the submission of the petitioner that the fresh tender notice was unjust and uncalled for. The petitioner sought quashment of the aforementioned notice. The court stayed the tender till further orders.
