TTDF for exploitation of tourist spots, road connectivity

Jammu, June 22: President Tehsil Thathri Development Front (TTDF) Kuldeep Kumar Rao, urged state government to pay attention towards Tehsil Thathri which has been totally ignored. As no tourist spot have been developed in Thathri despite hub of natural beauty comprised of Jantron Dhar, Mastashram Temple, Lamote Dhar and others which stand unapproachable due to no construction of roads and newly discovered cave of Shesh Nag idol which was discovered during development of Kahara-Jai road at Village Ranote. Shash Nag came to light and people in large number of the adjacent areas have started to prey regularly. The gift of nature can prove a turning point for the economic development of people of state. It can boost the tourist inflow as there are other places in Tehsil Thathri like Mata Raisvari Temlpe where people visit during Navratras. People from Bhadarwah, Kishtwar, Doda, Kathua even from Himachal Pradesh come to pay obeisance on Navratras. Rao appealed Chief Minister, R&B Minister and Tourism Minister and MLA Mohd Sharief Naiz to personally pay due attention towards Kahara-Jai road and Chiralla Joura-Kahara road for promoting these natural beautiful tourist spot. Rao appealed to state government for immediate construction of Bridge on newly constructed Kahara-Jai road to make it a functional for plying traffic. Though 13 kms of road is complete upto Halaran but same has not been thrown open for traffic due to non construction of bridge over Kahara River. Rao appeals R&B Minister to intervene personally in the survey of Kahara-Jai road• beyond Halaran to Jai and X-en Gandoh may kindly be allowed freely to survey of Kahara-Jai road beyond Halaran to Jai according to norms and as the survey made by R&B Division Bhadarwah in 1987 and in the beginning by ERA which includes Halaran, Budhi, Joura Kalan, Shamdl;ian and Ghuroo, which is equidistance from all habitation and causes least damage to the forest and also cover all S/T,S/C villages Kunthal and Suranga. Kahara-Jai road connects Tehsil Kishtwar and Tehsil Thathri with Tehsil Bhadarwah and Chamba.
