It brings to memory the tyrannical reign of Aurangzeb. He said that Omar Abdullah government stands exposed for its communal propensity by imposing jazia (religious tax) on each vehicle entering J&K territory with pilgrims bound for pilgrimage to Amarnath shrine or Mata Vaishno Devi. The amount of jazia is to the tune of Rs.2000.00 on each vehicle for each day after the third day of entry. Prof. Bhim Singh said that it is am appreciative step to sanction Rs.2 crores for Haj House in Srinagar but the imposition of jazia on pilgrims has no justification and is a retrograde step... He questioned the Government whether it had a plan for a yatri niwas in Jammu for Amarnath and Vaishno Devi pilgrims? The Panthers Party Chief said the Chief Minister has failed everywhere and his continuation is nothing but a disaster. He asked Congress to explain whether they support anti-national and communal actions of Omar Abdullah who has become a security risk.
