| Regional training camp on NSS 67th Round concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, June 25: The three days Regional Training Camp on NSS 67th Round at Jammu concluded here today. The camp was organized by the National Sample Survey Organization in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India, in collaboration with Directorate of Economics and Statistics (DES), Government of Jammu and Kashmir has completed three days Regional Training Camp, on NSS 67th Round at Jammu from June 23 to 25, 2010. The NSS 67th Round is earmarked for the survey on "Unincorporated non-agricultural Enterprise", covering manufacturing, trade and other services (excluding construction). The survey period will be of one year starting from 1st July 2010 and the information during the 67th Round of the survey will be collected through different scheduled list of households, unincorporated, non-agricultural enterprises.
The information will be collected through this survey on operating expenses, receipt, employment details and information technology used by the enterprise. The results of this survey will provide information on value added required for estimation of national income of the country. The training was imparted to the field staff engaged in data collection in the field by Director NSSO (FOD), Kishore Kumar, Deputy Director General NSSO (FOD), GOI, Sher Singh, Regional Office Jammu and Superintending Officer, NSSO (FOD), Jammu, AK Razdan, Joint Director, DES, Dr HS Arora addressed the trainees besides attending camp during all the three days.
