We have faith in Govt: Council staff | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, June 26: Seeking an early solution to their grievances, the Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council Employees Association today expressed full faith in coalition government led by Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah. In a media interaction aftermath the 16-day long strike in support of their demands, the Council employees informed the press about the discussions that took place with the Sports Minister and other higher officials during different rounds of meetings at Srinagar and Jammu. Reiterating their demands, the office bearers of the Association said that they want an early decision on implementation of Sixth Pay Commission benefits and regularizations of the daily wagers who have completed their seven years of services as also a favourable action towards contractual employees. Meanwhile, the Association president, Vikramjeet Singh expressed thanks to different cadres of the Sports Council for remained united in the hour of crisis thus making the strike a success.
