| Free check up camp for cancer patients | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, June 26: In the fourth free checkup and consultancy camp for cancer patients organized by Pawan Kumar Shastri, President Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust, seventy patients with cancerous ailments were examined and prescribed treatment by Dr. Ashok Vaid, a world renowned cancer expert. Dr Ashok Vaid, Chairman Iconology and Hematology, Medanta Cancer Institute (The Medicity) Gurgaon, is giving free checkup and consultancy to cancer patients in Jammu every month. The camps are organized at the residence of Pawan Kumar Shastri 3-Shakti Nagar Jammu. Shastri and Dr. Ashok Vaid aim at eventually setting up a full-fledged cancer examination center at Jammu, with necessary equipment so that free service is provided to needy patients.
