| SWD organises anti drug trafficking awareness camps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU,, June 26: The Social Welfares Department through its Child Development Project Officers, organized series of awareness camps across Jammu region to educate the general masses about ill affects of the drug addiction and its trafficking particularly among young generation. The camps were organized to mark International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. A camp was organized at CDPO office Marh whereat CDPO Ms Masooda stressed upon the youth not to take drugs, adding that 'drug addiction ruins generations both economically and morally. She stressed the need for organizing similar camps at educational institutions for educating the students about the social and economic repercussions of illicit trafficking and drug abuse. Similarly, International Day on Drug abuse and illicit trafficking was also observed by ICDS project Satwari and CDPO office Thathri -Gandhoo.
