NC govt non-existent on ground: Dilawar | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, June 26: Expressing his anguish over the recent killing of the youth in various parts of valley, Peoples Democratic Party, General Secretary, Mohammad Dilawar Mir said that the National Conference government seems totally non-existent on the ground and the situation has reverted to 1990. In a statement issued today, Mir condemned the killing of youth, saying that the law and order situation in the state has totally collapsed and the people especially the youth feel very insecure.". Dilawar Mir added that wanton arrest of youth in Srinagar and atrocities on rural populace has turned the valley into hell. He further added that the government instead of punishing the guilty is using oppressive measures to suppress people's anguish and sentiments which causes further resentment. Dilawar Mir said that Omar led Government has lost its authority and credibility as evident from the prevailing situation in the valley. Even the current situation did not sensitize the CM who preferred to holiday in Ladakh and Gulmarg. Such a careless attitude only reflects his non-seriousness towards the affairs of a sensitive state like J&K.
