| NC-led coalition failed to protect life, says Bukhari | | |

Srinagar, June 26: Peoples Democratic Party leader and MLA Sangrama, Syed Basharat Bukhari condemned the use of force and killing of innocent youth at Lalad and Ningal in Sopore. In a statement he said that it had become a routine practice with the government to crush the public voice raised for addressing their grievances.
Basharat Bukhari criticized the government for its complete failure in protecting precious lives of the people. "On one hand government is claiming to restore normalcy and confidence among the people and on the other it has given the freedom to destructive forces to undo the future of the state" Bukhari said that instead of providing incentives to the youth as promised, the NC-led government has unleashed tyranny against them. Bukhari said that the government had lost its credibility as it had failed to protect life and property of the people. He demanded immediate judicial probe into the killings and relief for the victims.
