| CB Jammu registers case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, JUNE 26: On a written complaint, Crime Branch Jammu has registered a case and started investigation in a case of transfer of a vehicle on fake documents. As per the complaint one Pawan Kumar s/o Tara Chand r/o Mohalla Paharian Jammu has prepared fake documents of Matador No JK02K-0851 in connivance with the officials of RTO office Jammu and also got the vehicle released on one of the occasion from the Court by producing forged documents. On receipt of this complaint the Crime Branch Jammu initiated enquiry and during the course of enquiry it has came to fore that Pawan Kumar in connivance with Daleep Kumar, Rakesh Kumar, Roop Lal, Raj Kumar, Surjeet Singh, Saleem Mohd, Anil Suri then Officials RTO Office Jammu had prepared the fake and forged documents regarding transfer of said Matador.
According to the FIR, the accused further used these documents for hypothecation. The omission and commission on the part of accused persons named above prima-facie constituted offences u/s 420,467, 468, 471, 120-B RPC and investigation is going on but no one is arrested so far in this case. JNF
